5 Morning Routines for Intro-prenuers

Good morning! As entrepreneurs, it seems there’s never enough time. Have you ever felt like you could not get out of bed? Want to snooze a little longer? Here are five tips to help you gain more time. 

1. Meditation

Meditation is amazing and many top performers credit it to their success. Morning meditation is especially powerful as it helps reduce stress. By practicing meditation daily, it has helped increase my self-awareness and confidence. There are many ways to meditate including non-guided and guided where music or words play as you sit in silence and clear your mind. I prefer non-guided. Regardless of which you choose, practice it for 30 days, 15 minutes each day to see the benefits.

2. Exercise

You know the importance of exercise and what it can do for your physical health. What you might not be aware of is the mental clarity that a good workout provides. Not only will it clear the morning fog, but it will give you energy and power. Go to your local gym, run around the block, or do simple bodyweight workout at home. The point is to get the heart rate up and the blood pumping. Within a few minutes, you’ll experience a huge shift in your being.

3. Music

Listen to songs that get you hyped up, moving and motivated. Listen to them and remember victories you’ve had. Remember what it felt like to have that breakthrough and how amazing it was. Break it down in your mind as you listen to the song. Realize that you achieved your goals step by step, and you can do it again. Do it daily and consistently. The goal is that when you hear this song it automatically triggers your mind and body back to when you achieved that goal. It will get you in the right state of mind to tackle your day.

4. Visualize

Spend 5-10 minutes every morning visualizing what you want to accomplish. Involve as many of your senses as possible. For instance, when you are closing that deal with your prospect, what do you hear, smell and feel? Even go as far as visualizing how that mint in your mouth tastes. Make it as realistic as possible. What you visualize you can achieve. This technique is used by many high-performance athletes and studies have shown you can get close to the same benefit with visualization as you can from the actual exercise.

5. Read

Read books that motivate and push you to excel. There are so many amazing authors who share their success formula. Read just 15 minutes a day and see how it helps you. A few of my favorite authors include Grant Cardone, Tony Robbins, and my mentor, Stephen Dela Cruz.

Try these routines for 30 days to see the increased results. I practice these daily and it has helped my business revenue grow by 20%. I credit the growth to the increased energy, mental clarity and confidence the routines have provided me.
