5 Limiting Belief Keeping You From Living As A Digital Nomad

5 Limiting Belief Keeping You From Living As A Digital Nomad

America: Land of the free, and the home of the Digital Nomad (ok, and the Whopper).

We live in an exciting world where people from all walks of life have the opportunity to gain freedom in how they live by working as a digital nomad (aka freelancer or entrepreneur).

Even with the opportunity to make a living outside of traditional means, millions of people, perhaps even you, still feel trapped in a job they hate. Why? Is it because they don't have access to online resources or people that can teach them how to be a digital nomad?

Probably not.

Honestly, it's due to the inability to adopt the right mindset.

The mind is the greatest tool man will ever have. However, when used improperly, it can become a weapon full of goal crushing limiting beliefs. Five common limiting beliefs are keeping you from developing the mindset of a successful digital nomad.

1. I Can't Afford to Become a Digital Nomad

It's not impossible to become a successful digital nomad without buying a single book, conference ticket, or program. With a bit of time and effort, you can find plenty of free resources to help you get started generating enough income to reinvest in yourself as well as keep a roof over your head.

2. I'm Not Smart Enough to A Be Successful Digital Nomad

None of us are. I'm sure Oprah and Warren Buffet didn't know half the things they know today at the start of their journey. However, they got clear on their vision and took steps to make their vision a reality by any means necessary. Be kind to yourself and learn from every win and misstep on your journey. You. Will. Get. There.

3. The Market Is Already Saturated with Too Many People

How many successful actors, athletes, app designers, administrative assistants, financial planners, motivational speakers, real estate agents, bloggers, Insta Models, and chefs are there?

Go ahead, check. I'll wait.

With nearly 8 billion people on Earth, the chances of you being one of the few, if not only, people doing something unheard of is slim-to-none. Be diligent and intentional in what you want, and space will be carved out for you within your niche.

4. Nobody Will Pay Me to Do [insert dream job]

Linday Katz made $40,000 one year selling tumbleweeds. Gary Duhl became a millionaire selling pet rocks. There are 8 billion unique individuals on this Earth. There will always be someone willing to pay for the service or product you provide.

5. Nobody Likes Their Job, That's Just the Way It Is

Plenty of people make a HAPPY living doing purpose-driven work in the digital space. It's up to you to adopt an attitude of gratitude and like the work you do no matter the "season," you're in with it.

Focus on conquering your limiting beliefs, and you'll be that much closer to enjoying the freedom that comes with living the life of a digital nomad.
