Did you know that real estate investing is one of the top wealth builders in the world? It has been proven that by investing in real estate, you have the opportunity to create financial freedom and even generational wealth. But what happens if you don't know where to begin? How do you know if you're in the right niche? Ladies and gentlemen, below, you will learn three things that you can put into use today that will lead you to freedom.  Take it from me,

"You only need to know enough to get started. You'll learn everything else as you go."

Be a Self Educator – When you first decide to get into real estate, the first thing you should be doing is researching real estate investing forums and threads all over the internet. Learn the different areas of real estate investing because not all niches are created equal. I'd also recommend for you to read some books on real estate investing. Message me if you need a few suggestions. Once you know what you want to focus on, you will have a clear picture of what you must learn and who you must connect with. Remember,

"The more you learn, the more you earn."

Become Aware – Some people think that investing and success is all about being at the right place at the right time. However, there is a saying,

"I'm going to be in the right place all the time."

What this means is as an investor; you are always looking for deals. You are always aware of potential deals everywhere when you're driving around. You will start to notice all the abandoned homes, buildings, and empty lots. If you are aware of your surroundings, you will subconsciously sharpen your mindset to always see an opportunity that others don't see. Who's to say that next deal doesn't bring in a profitable homerun, right?

Build Relationships – Knowing who to build relationships with and where to find those relationships is going to be important. Be able to recognize the ones that are actively investing and always in the mix and finding deals. Find the hungry ones and those that bring value to the table, just as you should as well. Most importantly, build relationships with someone that can private mentor you and share their mistakes and teach you how to be successful in your career as a beginning real estate investor.

When building relationships, always remember the one quote that you must consider every day in your interactions with others.

"Your network is your net worth."

So with those three tips, you not only know what it takes to get started but you also now know what you must continue to do so even as you progress through the experiences and create your financial freedom and time freedom. Regardless of how much money or success you accomplish, you must continue to self-educate yourself, always stay in the mix and be aware of opportunities, and of course, build a solid network with the right people.
