How To Bake A Success Cake
Have you ever baked a cake? Success is like baking a cake. No, I’m not crazy, maybe a little hungry though. Here is a basic recipe for baking a success cake:
Step 1. Gather your ingredients.
Success takes a lot of different skills and tools before you can even get off the ground with your business. To START you need basic personal development, customer service skills, a mentor, logo, marketing skills, business idea, and business plan. These things aren’t even the end all be all. The gathering process to success is a never-ending journey; you will forever be gathering knowledge and skills to grow your business.
Step 2. Preheat the oven to 350 F & prepare your pan.
Once you think you have everything you need in front of you, it’s time to turn up the heat. Success doesn’t come easy, so you have to ready to deal with long nights, hard work, struggle of every kind, and heat from every angle of your business and your life.
Step 3. In a bowl mix flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
Let’s start mixing. Success isn’t a one size fits all kind of cake. Success to you might look different than anyone else you know. You might combine the ingredients exactly like the box says while someone else might do it the opposite way. The best thing you can do is find someone who is successful with what you want to do and follow their idea. You don’t need to reinvent the cake recipe.
Step 4. Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla into the mix.
You thought you had it all together, it’s time to mix it up some more. Be FAT – faithful, available, and teachable. It’s important to understand that to become successful you will need to grow and you won’t always get it right the first time. You may need to try multiple times before you get it right. Remember, it took Edison 1000 tries before he got the light bulb right.
Step 5. Pour cake batter into the pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
You cannot keep your mix in your bowl and expect it to grow. That is the same thing with success. Success isn’t just for you, you will need to spread it out, share the love, share the knowledge and be patient. For success, some can happen in a matter of months, while for others it takes years. Keep your goals and dreams in mind and never give up on them.
Step 6. Remove from oven and let cool.
Sometimes with success, we think we have ‘made it’ when we have only actually made it to the next level. You never know how much more success you could have if you stop now. Sometimes there is a cooling off period, and then you can go further.
Step 7. Frost and eat cake.
Make sure to celebrate your wins and don’t get burned out. The hustle is real but don’t let it become all you do. Keep in mind that success not the ‘end goal’. Success is a journey. Enjoy the journey of baking the cake and once you have people baking your cakes for you, start a new cake baking business. Don’t limit your success to one cake ever.
Now go bake enough cakes to feed the world!
