As a consumer, I was super excited for this movie to come out! I knew right away that I, for sure, would be writing a review on this and find business lessons from it. These are the points I got:

Short Cut / Magic Pill

It’s natural to desire an easier and more comfortable route to get what we want. I mean who doesn’t want abs without crunches? There’s no magic to get results, it simply take actions.

Wrong Impression

“First impressions last.” Yes, they do! They leave a mark, positively or negatively. We definitely want to impress our prospects, people that may potentially become our clients. Though at times, we go overboard where it's not 100% accurate, which leads to an end result of us losing our prospects. Great reminder to stay in integrity at all times.

Giving Our Power Away

At times there’s a sense of losing control when you give someone absolute authority or power over you. Aladdin is an example of giving away ‘his power’ of his last wish by giving Genie ‘his freedom’. What resulted from that was a long-lasting relationship and the powers that is now openly freely shared by Genie with Aladdin.

I appreciate that when we have intention in ANYTHING that we do, even watching a disney movie, we can always find what we are looking for. May you find nuggets of wisdom at any given moment!
