Obstacles Versus Opportunities

Three Obstacles That Are Opportunities as a Beginning Real Estate Investor.

When you realize that now is the perfect time for you to become a real estate investor, you will be excited, and then the obstacles start to arise.

Rest assured, many beginning real estate investors face similar obstacles. However, once you are open-minded to the advice in this article, you will then have these three basic obstacles covered.

"I don't have money to invest."

This is usually the first obstacle you must overcome. I personally had this same obstacle as I was leaving the military without any new income coming in. That is when I learned about wholesaling.

Wholesaling is a process where you and a property owner have a written agreement to purchase their property at a discount, and then while in escrow, you immediately resell the property for a higher price, while you make profits in the middle. This is a simple process that doesn't require you to have your own money, other than marketing dollars. With this, you now have an opportunity to become a real estate investor from ground zero and thrive.

"I don't know where to start."

Many times, beginning real estate investors start with doing their own research on websites like Bigger Pockets and attend local real estate networking events. Even I host a real estate happy hour for beginning and seasoned investors to attend. Start with educating yourself to know different terminology, different roles each profession plays, and get out into the world and network with those experienced.

Remember, my friend, real estate investing not just an industry; it is a lifestyle. By educating yourself, you are setting yourself up for successful conversations, confidence, and clarity on your investing level or starting point. By networking and meeting other investors, you now have the opportunity to meet the right connections who have successes, experience, and contacts; the things that truly will level up your success as an investor.

"This is all new to me. I have no idea what I'm doing."

This was an obstacle that took me eight months to overcome, and now you can learn to overcome it immediately. For the first eight months of my investing career, I was working hard as hell with a whole lot of heart. However, during the first eight months, I never landed a deal.

It wasn't until I hired a coach that I actually landed my first THREE deals in under three months, learned a noncompetitive investment strategy, and raised over $1.1 million on these first three deals. By hiring a coach, you now invested into your opportunity to learn and get results at a much faster pace than if you are merely learning on your own and through a book or website that isn't personally helping you.

My friend, once you recognize that you are your only obstacle, you will then become excited, you will take action now, and you will overcome every obstacle by turning it into a new opportunity to grow into a sharp and successful real estate investor.
