Somebody has to Draw a Line
Have you ever heard the statement: “Somebody has to draw a line!”
Have you ever thought that, that somebody could be you? What would you like to draw a line on?
Draw the line means this is it! From now on, things will change, and we will do, act or react in a different way, and maybe starting from NOW we will not allow some things to keep happening.
For most entrepreneurs, like you and me, the decision of becoming independent happened after experiencing some trauma or being discriminated, maybe abused, bullied, treated like a nobody, going thru pain and suffering. Many of you, found those challenges, the fire that ignited your passion for changing this world so nobody else, has to go thru what you did.
The best motivational speakers like Jenny Blake, Mr. Les Brown, declared mentally retarded while in grade school or Nick Vujicic, who was born with no arms and no legs, have inspired millions of people to draw a line. Each one of them were committed to challenge the world and stand up for what they believed asking us to do the same.
Draw the line means you recognize, once for all, that it doesn’t have to be the way others decide for you.
Draw the line means you don’t have to put up with “that” anymore, you can decide what is wrong and what is right for you, you can create your new reality and the real you, based on who you truly are and believe.
Draw the line means you will not believe anymore what others say about you, you will not accept others are treating you like an object, or somebody less than them, or unworthy of respect and appreciation.
Draw the line means you will not take as law what your parents taught you, what religion says is right or wrong; what some societal rules say is politically correct.
Draw the line is when after 3 or 4 generations of sexual abuse in a family, one day, one woman decides that enough is enough and changes the course of the next generations to come.
When you draw a line, you start writing a new chapter of your life; you become the creator of your reality and your world. This new chapter will open a new window of endless possibilities, endless outcomes, and new beginnings — a new reality where you take that step into your greatness.
Now it is your time, decide how will you draw a line.
