What Do You Fear?
Everybody is afraid of something or someone:
Kids are always afraid of the Bully, Boogeyman or scary monster to get them.
Teens are always afraid of growing up and never getting out of school.
Adults are always afraid of everything in life: losing their jobs, their business shutting down, losing their house or apartment, their significant other leaving them, or that their kids will go hungry.
Seniors are always afraid of their time to depart this earth.
Why are people afraid? What do they fear?
If it’s a test your taking in school or you’re trying to make enough money to live, but your afraid that you will fail or lose your job or business, don’t be scared! Stop living your life in fear. There are always going to be naysayers that will put fear in your mind. The more you fear, the more you will live in fear for the rest of your life - if you let it.
“The only thing we have to fear, is fear itself.” Franklin D. Roosevelt
I agree, but it is fear within yourself that you have to worry about and face. Self-doubt, low self-esteem, and depression - those are your real fears.
Instead, face your fears: confront it, address it, accept it ,and conquer it. I have and am still facing my fears to this day.
Conquering your fears doesn’t happen overnight; it is a lifelong process.
If you do fail your test in school or lose your job and don’t get enough money, so what! Learn from your fears and mistakes so you can succeed in the future. You will have a second chance in life.
You only have a limited amount of time on this earth . . use it wisely.
Ask yourself . . . What do I fear?
